Johnny! is a musical project led by German producer and composer JJ Whitefield, known for his work with Poets of Rhythm and Whitefield Brothers. The group draws inspiration from Ghanaian afrobeat rhythms and 1970s Zambian zamrock. Their debut album, "Karl Hector Presents: Johnny!", was released in 2021 under Now-Again Records. Band members include Henry Taylor (keyboards, vocals), Eric Owusu (percussion, vocals), Bernd Oezsevim (drums), and Tomi Simatupang (bass guitar, keyboards).
