Jon Boden is a British singer, composer, and musician, best known as the lead singer and main arranger of the band Bellowhead. His primary instrument is the fiddle, and he is an advocate of "English traditional fiddle style" and "fiddle singing." Boden has received 11 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, more than any other musician. In 2019, he was awarded honorary doctorates by Durham University and the Open University. In 2010, he launched the A Folk Song A Day project, aiming to inspire others to build a repertoire of songs and engage in social singing.
