Jonathan Tetelman is an American operatic tenor born in 1988 in Castro, Chile. He was adopted and raised in Hopewell Township, New Jersey. Tetelman studied at the Manhattan School of Music and later at the Mannes School of Music, where he transitioned from baritone to tenor. He made his debut at London's Royal Opera House as Alfredo in "La traviata" and Rodolfo in "La bohème". Tetelman has also performed as Cavaradossi in "Tosca" at Teatro Regio in Turin and as Pinkerton in "Madama Butterfly" at Opéra national de Montpellier. In 2021, he signed an exclusive contract with Deutsche Grammophon and released his debut album "Arias" in 2022, followed by "The Great Puccini" in 2023.
