Jordfäst is a Swedish black metal band known for their distinctive sound and melancholic melodies. Their albums "Av Stoft" and "Hadanefter" have been acclaimed for their strong musical compositions. The third album, "Blodsdåd och hor," is considered their darkest work, exploring Swedish history and human existence through fragments from Völuspá and imagery of violent manipulation. Recording took place at Studio Wheelmust under the direction of Elis, with mixing and mastering handled by William Blackmon at The Overlook.
