Juan D'Arienzo was an Argentine musician known as the "King of the Beat." He was a violinist, conductor, and composer who revitalized tango in the 1930s by returning to its traditional 2/4 rhythm. His orchestra was renowned for its energetic style, which was popular among dancers. Throughout his career, he recorded over 1,000 pieces, including tangos, milongas, and waltzes. He collaborated with vocalists such as Alberto Echagüe and Héctor Maure. His music remains popular at milongas in Buenos Aires.
