The Kammerchor der Frauenkirche Dresden is a chamber choir founded in 2005 by Matthias Grünert, the first cantor of the rebuilt Frauenkirche in Dresden. Comprising 30 professional singers, the choir specializes in a cappella literature and oratorios from the 17th and 18th centuries. Notable recordings include "Weihnachten in der Dresdner Frauenkirche" (2013) and Bach's "Weihnachtsoratorium" (2012). The choir regularly performs at services and concerts in the Frauenkirche and has undertaken concert tours in countries such as France, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Japan.
