Karpatské Chrbáty is a Slovak music group from Vrbové, founded in 1982 under the name VEGET, later changed to its current name. The band consists of Braňo Jobus (vocals), Roman Klčo (bass guitar), and Peter Hrdina (drums). Their music spans the genres of indie pop and alternative pop. Notable albums include "Karpatské Chrbáty 1" (1992), "Karpatské Chrbáty 4" (2003), and "Dekel" (2015). The band collaborated with Czech musician Michael Kocáb, performing together at the Concert for the Attentive in 2022. In 2022, guitarist Miroslav Kusý passed away; the band decided to continue without a new guitarist, utilizing his recorded guitar tracks during concerts.
