Kenny Wayne Shepherd is an American blues guitarist and singer, known for his contributions to modern blues rock. His 1995 debut album, "Ledbetter Heights," achieved platinum status and spent 20 weeks atop the Billboard blues chart. The 1997 follow-up, "Trouble Is...," featured the hit "Blue on Black," which became the most successful song on the Mainstream Rock Tracks in 1998. Shepherd has been nominated for five Grammy Awards and has won two Billboard Music Awards.
