King Hüsky is the solo project of Vidar Landa, guitarist of the Norwegian heavy metal band Kvelertak and the indie rock/power pop band Beachheads. He released his debut album "King Hüsky" on May 9, 2025, featuring singles "Running" and "Don't Let it Bring You Down". His music blends elements of indie rock, indie folk, and alternative rock. The album features collaborations with Børge Fjordheim (Cloroform, Sivert Høyem), Anne Lise Frøkedal (Frøkedal, I Was a King), and Arthur Berning. It was recorded at Tou Lyd studio in Stavanger and produced by Anne Lise Frøkedal.
