King's X is an American rock band formed in 1979 in Springfield, Missouri. The lineup consists of bassist and vocalist Doug Pinnick, guitarist Ty Tabor, and drummer Jerry Gaskill. Their music blends hard rock, progressive metal, funk, and soul with vocal arrangements influenced by gospel, blues, and British rock bands.
