Kode9, born Steve Goodman, is a Scottish electronic music producer, DJ, and founder of the Hyperdub label. He collaborated with The Spaceape on albums "Memories of the Future" (2006) and "Black Sun" (2011). His solo works include "Nothing" (2015) and "Escapology" (2022). His music draws from genres such as dubstep, UK garage, and future garage. Kode9 is also the author of the book "Sonic Warfare: Sound, Affect, and the Ecology of Fear" (2009).
