Kruelty is a hardcore/death metal band from Tokyo, Japan, known for blending death metal with beatdown hardcore. Formed in 2017, the band consists of guitarist and vocalist Zuma, bassist Seina, and drummer Mani. Their debut album, "A Dying Truth," was released in 2020, followed by "Untopia" in 2023. In November 2024, they released the EP "Profane Usurpation" under the label Closed Casket Activities. Their music is influenced by Finnish death metal and the 1990s hardcore scenes from the U.S. and Japan. They have collaborated with producer Taylor Young on multiple recordings.
