Kučerovci is a Czech pop and folk group specializing in interpreting world music from various continents. The band was founded in 1946 by Václav Kučera and his wife Marta Kučerová under the name "Phillippines Hawaiians." In 1952, they renamed themselves "Skupina Václava Kučery," later becoming known as "Kučerovci." After Václav Kučera's death in 1983, leadership of the group was taken over by Jan Hromas. The group is known for interpreting traditional folk music and remained actively performing at least until 2010.
