Laurent Coq is a French jazz pianist and composer who began playing the piano at the age of seven. He studied at the Centre d'informations musicales in Paris and, in 1994, received a government grant to study in the United States, where he learned from Bruce Barth, John Hicks, and Mulgrew Miller. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with notable musicians such as Miguel Zenón and Jérôme Sabbagh.
