Lee Dorsey was an American singer from New Orleans, known for hits like "Ya Ya" and "Working in the Coal Mine". He collaborated with producer Allen Toussaint and the band The Meters. His 1978 album "Night People" was his final studio album. Dorsey passed away in 1986 at the age of 61.
