Link Wray was an American guitarist and composer, known as a pioneer of rock music. He was born on May 2, 1929, in Dunn, North Carolina, and died on November 5, 2005, in Copenhagen, Denmark. His most famous track, "Rumble" from 1958, is considered one of the first instrumental rock songs, influencing many musicians. Wray was known for his raw sound and innovative use of distortion and reverb. Throughout his career, he released several albums, including "Link Wray" (1971) and "Beans and Fatback" (1973).
