Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam was an American urban contemporary band formed in New York City in the 1980s. The group consisted of vocalist Lisa Lisa (Lisa Velez), guitarist/bassist Alex "Spanador" Moseley, and drummer/keyboardist Mike Hughes. Their 1985 debut album, "Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam with Full Force," featured hits like "I Wonder If I Take You Home" and "All Cried Out." The 1987 follow-up, "Spanish Fly," produced two number-one pop hits: "Head to Toe" and "Lost in Emotion." The band was known for their contributions to the freestyle genre and collaboration with the production team Full Force. The group disbanded in 1991.
