Loverboy is a Canadian rock band formed in Calgary in 1979. Their 1980 self-titled debut album featured the hit "Turn Me Loose." The 1981 follow-up, "Get Lucky," included tracks like "Working for the Weekend" and "When It's Over." Throughout the 1980s, they released successful albums such as "Keep It Up" (1983) and "Lovin' Every Minute of It" (1985). The band achieved multiple platinum certifications and sold millions of records. Despite a brief breakup between 1988 and 1991, they continue to tour and record new material.
