Lowe is a Swedish synthpop band formed in 2002 in Stockholm. The original lineup consisted of Leo Josefsson (vocals/guitar), Rickard Gunnarsson (bass guitar), and Mehdi Bagherzadeh (keyboards). Their music is characterized as emotional pop with electronic elements. They released their debut album, "Tenant," in 2004, followed by "Kino International" in 2008 and "Evolver" in 2011. The band won the "Newcomer Of The Year" award at the Scandinavian Alternative Music Awards in 2005. Lowe has been compared to artists such as Depeche Mode, New Order, Keane, and A-ha.
