Lúčnica is an artistic ensemble from the Slovak Republic, founded in 1948. It comprises a dance troupe, choir, and orchestra. Its repertoire includes traditional Slovak folk dances, songs, and music. The ensemble has received top awards at international competitions in cities such as Llangollen, Arezzo, and Montreux. Lúčnica has performed in over 60 countries, including the USA, China, and Mexico. Its longtime artistic director and choreographer was Professor Štefan Nosáľ. The ensemble has collaborated with prominent Slovak and international musical groups, conductors, and soloists. The products available from the artist Lúčnica include CDs.
