Lucy Railton is a British cellist and composer known for her work in experimental and ambient music. She studied at the New England Conservatory in Boston and the Royal Academy of Music in London, graduating in 2008. Railton has collaborated with artists such as Kali Malone, Stephen O'Malley, and Catherine Lamb. Her albums include "Paradise 94" (2018), "Corner Dancer" (2023), and "Blue Veil" (2025). In 2008, she founded the new music concert series Kammer Klang at Cafe Oto and later co-founded the London Contemporary Music Festival. Railton is recognized for her approach to resonance, psychoacoustics, and microtonality in her work.
