Lucy Ward is an English singer-songwriter from Derby, known for her distinctive voice and ability to perform traditional English folk songs as well as her own compositions. Her debut album, "Adelphi Has to Fly," was released in 2011 to critical acclaim. This was followed by "Single Flame" in 2013 and "I Dreamt I Was a Bird" in 2015, both receiving four-star reviews in the British press. In 2012, she won the Horizon Award at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
