Alessandro Mahmoud, known professionally as Mahmood, is an Italian singer and songwriter. He gained recognition after participating in the sixth season of the Italian version of The X Factor. Mahmood won the Sanremo Music Festival in 2019 and 2022 with the songs "Soldi" and "Brividi," respectively. These victories allowed him to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest, where he achieved second and sixth places.
