Maik Krahl is a German jazz trumpeter and composer. He studied jazz at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden and the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. He has released the albums "Decidophobia" (2018), "Fraction" (2020), and "In-Between Flow" (2022). Krahl has collaborated with musicians such as Seamus Blake and Kurt Rosenwinkel. He is a member of the Subway Jazz Orchestra and has appeared as a guest musician with the WDR Big Band. In 2023, he received the HI Five Music Award and is a three-time recipient of the Werner Richard - Dr. Carl Dörken Stiftung scholarship.
