Majical Cloudz was a Canadian music group from Montreal, consisting of singer-songwriter Devon Welsh and producer Matthew Otto. Formed in 2010, the duo was known for their minimalist approach to electronic music, emphasizing emotive vocals and introspective lyrics. Their 2013 album "Impersonator" was nominated for the Polaris Music Prize. In 2014, they supported Lorde on her North American tour. In 2015, they released "Are You Alone?", which received critical acclaim. The group disbanded in March 2016, with both members continuing their musical careers separately.
