Mammal Hands is a British trio from Norwich, formed in 2012. The group consists of saxophonist Jordan Smart, pianist Nick Smart, and drummer Jesse Barrett. Their music blends elements of jazz, electronic, contemporary classical, and folk. They released their debut album "Animalia" in 2014 under Gondwana Records, followed by "Floa" (2016), "Shadow Work" (2017), "Captured Spirits" (2020), and "Gift from the Trees" (2023). In April 2024, the band announced the departure of Jesse Barrett, with Rob Turner taking over on drums. Mammal Hands are known for their hypnotic live performances and unique sound, which has garnered international acclaim.
