Manuel Göttsching is a German musician and composer, known as the founder of the group Ash Ra Tempel. In 1981, he recorded the album "E2-E4," which was released in 1984 and became a significant work in electronic music. The album consists of a single hour-long track that combines sequenced rhythms, improvised keyboards, and guitar passages. "E2-E4" influenced the development of house and techno music and was sampled in the 1989 track "Sueño Latino." Göttsching's work is recognized for its contribution to ambient and minimalist music.
