Marco Ruggeri is an Italian organist and musicologist born in 1969 in Cremona. He studied organ, harpsichord, and choral conducting at the conservatories of Piacenza and Brescia. In 1997, he won first place at the Bologna Harpsichord Competition. Ruggeri is known for his recordings of works by Amilcare Ponchielli and Padre Davide da Bergamo. He serves as the second organist at the Cremona Cathedral and teaches organ and liturgical music at the conservatory in Darfo Boario Terme. He has authored several publications on 19th-century Italian organ music.
