Mark Eitzel is an American musician, best known as the lead singer and songwriter for the band American Music Club. After the band's dissolution in 1994, he pursued a solo career, releasing albums such as "60 Watt Silver Lining" (1996), "West" (1997), and "Caught in a Trap and I Can't Back Out 'Cause I Love You Too Much, Baby" (1998). His music spans genres including rock, alternative rock, and indie rock. Eitzel has collaborated with artists like Peter Buck of R.E.M. and Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth. In 2009, he released the album "Klamath".
