cd - Martha a Tena
Martha and Tena is a Czech music duo composed of sisters Martha and Tena Elefteriadu. They come from a family of Greek emigrants who settled in former Czechoslovakia in 1950. In the 1960s, they began collaborating with guitarist Aleš Sigmund from the band Vulkán, leading to their first recordings in 1968. Their debut album, "Dál než slunce vstává," was released in 1970. During the 1970s and 1980s, they were prominent figures in the Czech pop music scene. Their repertoire includes pop music influenced by Greek culture. They continue to perform today, focusing on interpreting Greek folk songs and teaching Greek dances.
