Matangi Quartet is a Dutch string quartet founded in 1999 in The Hague. The ensemble received awards such as the Almere Chamber Music Award and the Anton Kersjes Award in 2002. Their debut album, "Première," features works by Schubert, Haydn, and Dvořák. In 2022, they released "Dutch String Quartets," showcasing compositions by Dutch composers Hendrik Andriessen, Jan Mul, Herman Strategier, and Louis Andriessen. The quartet is known for its interpretation of classical music and collaborations with various artists.
