Mel Holder is a New York-based saxophonist known for his unique blend of contemporary jazz and gospel music. Over his more than 25-year career, he has released seven albums, including 'Music Book Volume 1' (2008), 'Back To Basics: Music Book Volume 2' (2015), 'Music Book Volume III - Magnificent' (2019), and 'Phenomenal: Music Book Volume IV' (2023). His album 'Magnificent' reached top positions on the Billboard Gospel and Contemporary Jazz charts in 2020. Holder has been nominated for Grammy, Stellar, and Dove awards.
