Melenas is a Spanish indie rock band from Pamplona, formed in 2016. The group consists of Oihana (guitar, vocals), Leire (bass guitar), María (keyboards), and Lauri (drums). Their music blends elements of garage pop, krautrock, and jangle pop, drawing inspiration from bands like The Feelies and Stereolab. They released their self-titled debut album in 2017, followed by "Días Raros" in 2020 and "Ahora" in 2023. The band has performed at festivals such as Primavera Sound, SXSW, and Eurosonic. In 2021, they won the Music Moves Europe Talent Awards, previously awarded to artists like Rosalía and Dua Lipa.
