Mick Abrahams is an English guitarist and singer, best known as the original guitarist for Jethro Tull and the founder of the blues-rock band Blodwyn Pig. With Jethro Tull, he recorded the debut album "This Was" in 1968 before leaving due to musical differences. He then formed Blodwyn Pig, releasing "Ahead Rings Out" (1969) and "Getting to This" (1970), both reaching the Top Ten of the UK Albums Chart. Abrahams' music blends blues and rock, with his 2013 album "Hoochie Coochie Man" featuring previously unreleased recordings from 2004. Throughout his career, he collaborated with various musicians and bands, making a significant contribution to the British blues-rock scene.
