Microtub is a trio consisting of three microtonal tuba players: Robin Hayward (UK/DE), Peder Simonsen (NO), and Martin Taxt (NO). Formed in 2010, the group focuses on exploring the microtonal possibilities of the tuba. Their music is often described as elongated and meditative. They have released several albums, including "Thin Peaks" and "Sonic Drift". They have collaborated with artists such as Ellen Arkbro and Catherine Lamb.
