Mike Rutherford is an English musician, known as the co-founder and lead guitarist of the band Genesis. In 1980, he released his first solo album, "Smallcreep's Day," featuring a 24-minute title track inspired by the 1965 novel of the same name. The album was recorded at Polar Studios in Stockholm and produced by David Hentschel. Collaborating musicians included Anthony Phillips on keyboards, Simon Phillips on drums, and Noel McCalla as vocalist.
