Miss Emily, born Emily Fennell, is a Canadian singer and songwriter from Kingston, Ontario. She is known for her powerful voice and energetic performances that blend genres such as soul, blues, and Americana. In 2020, she won two Maple Blues Awards for New Artist of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year. Her album "LIVE at the Isabel" was nominated for a Juno Award in 2022 for Blues Album of the Year. In September 2022, she released her fourth album, "Defined By Love." In December 2025, she plans to release a new album, "The Medicine," produced by Grammy winner Colin Linden, featuring collaborations with musicians from Bob Dylan and Keb' Mo's bands.
