Moonbyul is a South Korean rapper and songwriter under RBW Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group Mamamoo and its sub-unit Mamamoo+. She began her solo career in May 2018 with the digital single "Selfish". In 2020, she released her second EP, "Dark Side of the Moon", which peaked at number two on the Gaon Album Chart. In 2022, she released the EPs "6equence" and "C.I.T.T (Cheese in the Trap)", the latter selling over 100,000 copies. In 2024, she released her first studio album, "Starlit of Muse".
