Murs is an American rapper and singer from Los Angeles, California. His stage name is an acronym for "Making the Universe Recognize and Submit" or "Making Underground Raw Shit." He was a member of the group Living Legends and collaborated with producer 9th Wonder on several albums, including "Murs 3:16: The 9th Edition" and "Murray's Revenge." In 2016, he set a Guinness World Record for rapping continuously for 24 hours. His album "Love & Rockets 3:16 (The Emancipation)" is scheduled for release on September 20, 2025.
