My Silent Wake is a British gothic death/doom metal band formed in 2005 by Ian Arkley, former member of Seventh Angel and Ashen Mortality. The band has released several albums, including "Shadow of Sorrow" (2006), "The Anatomy of Melancholy" (2007), "A Garland of Tears" (2008), and "There Was Death" (2018). Their music combines elements of gothic metal and death-doom, drawing inspiration from bands like My Dying Bride and Paradise Lost. The band collaborated with Greg Chandler of Esoteric on album production and has performed at various festivals across Europe.
