Myele Manzanza is a New Zealand drummer and composer, son of a Congolese master percussionist. He began his musical career as a member of Electric Wire Hustle. He has released several solo albums, including "One" (2012), "A Love Requited" (2019), and the "Crisis & Opportunity" series. His music blends jazz, electronic, and African rhythms. He has collaborated with artists such as Theo Parrish, Mark de Clive-Lowe, and Jordan Rakei. In 2017, his album "OnePointOne" was nominated for New Zealand Jazz Album of the Year.
