Nacha Pop was a Spanish pop-rock band formed in 1978 in Madrid. The original lineup included Antonio Vega and Nacho García Vega (guitars and vocals), Carlos Brooking (bass guitar), and Ñete (drums). Their 1980 debut album, "Nacha Pop," featured the hit "Chica de ayer," which became an iconic song in Spanish pop music. The band released several more albums, including "Buena disposición" (1982), "Dibujos animados" (1985), and "El momento" (1987). After disbanding in 1988, members pursued solo projects, with Antonio Vega achieving a successful solo career. The band reunited from 2007-2009 and again in 2012, releasing the album "Efecto Inmediato" in 2017.
