Naxatras is a Greek psychedelic rock band from Thessaloniki, formed in 2012. They are known for their warm, analog sound, drawing inspiration from the psychedelia and progressive rock of the 1960s and 1970s. Their music combines ethereal melodies, deep grooves, and "psychedelic" guitar solos, enriched with elements of funk, jazz, and oriental music. Their debut album, "Naxatras" (2015), was recorded live in one day using exclusively analog equipment and quickly became one of the best-selling in the genre. This was followed by "II" (2016), "III" (2018), and "IV" (2022), each showcasing the evolution of their sound. In 2025, they released their fifth album, "V," which expanded their musical horizons by incorporating world music and electronic elements.
