New Radicals was an American pop rock band formed in 1997 in Los Angeles. The group was primarily composed of Gregg Alexander (vocals, guitar, songwriting, production) and Danielle Brisebois (keyboards, percussion, backing vocals). They released a single album, "Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too" in 1998, which included the hit "You Get What You Give". The album achieved platinum status in the United States and gold in the United Kingdom and Canada. The band disbanded in 1999, after which Alexander focused on writing and producing for other artists. In 2021, the band reunited for a one-time performance at President Joe Biden's inauguration.
