In 2016, he was a finalist on The Voice of Ireland. In 2022, he released his debut album, "The Journey So Far," featuring 14 tracks, including duets with Margot Daly, Laura Colgan, and Simon Casey. Connell is known for his ability to perform across various musical genres, from rock and pop to folk and classical music. He currently resides in Germany and plans to tour throughout the country.
