Nikki Sudden was an English singer, songwriter, and guitarist, known as a member of the post-punk band Swell Maps and later as a solo artist. After Swell Maps disbanded in 1980, he embarked on a solo career, releasing several albums including "Groove" and "Crown of Thorns". His music blended elements of rock, indie rock, and singer-songwriter styles. Sudden frequently collaborated with other musicians, including Dave Kusworth, with whom he formed the duo Jacobites. His contributions to the music scene are still recognized today.
