Nomeansno was a Canadian punk rock band formed in 1979 in Victoria, British Columbia, by brothers Rob and John Wright. Their music blended elements of punk, jazz, and progressive rock, resulting in a complex and innovative sound. Notable albums include "Wrong" (1989), "0 + 2 = 1" (1991), and "Why Do They Call Me Mr. Happy?" (1993). The band was known for energetic live performances and influenced genres such as post-hardcore and math rock. Throughout their career, they collaborated with artists like Jello Biafra and were inducted into the Western Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2015.
