Nuno Cernadas is a Portuguese pianist born in 1988 in Porto. He studied at music universities in Porto, Budapest, Freiburg, and Karlsruhe under professors such as Fátima Travanca, Constantin Sandu, Gilead Mishory, and Michael Uhde. He is the winner of several national Portuguese piano competitions and received the 1st prize at the international piano competition "Pro‐Piano" in Bucharest. As a soloist, he has performed with orchestras like the Baden‐Baden Philharmoniker, Orquestra do Norte, and Gulbenkian Orchestra. In 2024, he released the double CD "Scriabin – The Complete Piano Sonatas" under the Belgian label Etcetera Records, which received international acclaim.
