October Tide is a Swedish death-doom metal band formed in 1995 by former Katatonia members Fred Norrman and Jonas Renkse. After releasing two albums, "Rain Without End" (1997) and "Grey Dawn" (1999), the band disbanded. In 2009, Norrman revived the band with a new lineup. Their sixth studio album, "In Splendor Below," was released on May 17, 2019, under Agonia Records. The album was produced by Alexander Backlund and mixed and mastered by Daniel Lidén.
