Ofra Haza was an Israeli singer and actress known for her unique blend of traditional Yemenite music with modern pop and electronic elements. Born in Tel Aviv, she began her career with the Hatikva Theater. Her most notable albums include "Shirei Teiman" (1984), "Shaday" (1988), and "Desert Wind" (1989). Her song "Im Nin'alu" became an international hit and was widely sampled in hip-hop music.
